Senior Business Controller – FP&A (FMCG)

About the role

This senior Business Controller / FP&A position sits at the heart of a fast‑moving FMCG business. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will partner with the Managing Director, commercial and marketing teams to translate financial data into actionable business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own sales and commercial controlling, covering revenue, margins, category and segment performance.
• Act as finance partner for the MD, commercial and marketing functions.
• Develop and maintain FP&A activities such as scenario modelling, performance analysis and strategic support.
• Monitor the full P&L, balance sheet and working capital, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Design, own and improve BI tools and reporting to increase quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• Solid hands‑on controlling and FP&A experience in FMCG, retail or a similarly complex commercial environment.
• Commercial mindset with experience close to sales or marketing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Fluent in German and English; French is a plus.
• Independent, proactive and able to manage competing priorities in a multi‑stakeholder setting.
