Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

Ohme is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead its expansion into Switzerland. The role starts remotely while a local office is established, offering the chance to shape the company’s Swiss presence.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive business development activities across Switzerland, identifying and closing opportunities with installers, distributors, fleet partners, utilities and other EV ecosystem players.
• Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to contract signature and achieve sales targets for Ohme’s EV charging solutions.
• Develop strategic partnerships, upsell and cross‑sell hardware, software and services, and provide market feedback to sales leadership and product teams.
• Represent Ohme at industry events, monitor competitor activity and market trends, and build long‑term relationships with key installers and distributors.

Required profile

• 5+ years of business development, sales or partnership experience in EV charging, energy, mobility or related sectors.
• Strong network and deep understanding of the Swiss EV charging ecosystem, including regional differences across German, French and Italian‑speaking cantons.
• Fluent in German and French, professional proficiency in English; additional Italian or Swiss German is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently while collaborating with international teams, and willing to travel across Switzerland and occasionally to Ohme HQ in London.
