Senior Compliance Officer

About the role

The Senior Compliance Officer will ensure that FAB Private Bank (Suisse) SA operates in line with Swiss regulations, international standards and internal policies. The role supports the Head of Compliance on market conduct, client suitability, investment compliance, AML, transaction monitoring and cross‑border risk matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second‑line oversight of market conduct, suitability, investment activity and financial crime risks.
• Review and challenge suitability and appropriateness assessments, ensuring alignment with client profiles and risk appetite.
• Assess complex investment products, structured solutions and financing‑linked investments from a regulatory perspective.
• Identify, analyse and escalate conduct risks such as mis‑selling, conflicts of interest and inappropriate product usage.
• Perform transaction monitoring analyses, investigate unusual or high‑risk transactions and document findings.
• Review onboarding, periodic and event‑driven KYC reviews, focusing on complex ownership structures, high‑risk jurisdictions and PEPs.
• Support internal investigations, thematic reviews and regulatory enquiries related to conduct, suitability or investment activities.

Required profile

• Several years of senior compliance experience within private banking or financial services.
• Deep knowledge of Swiss regulatory framework, AML/CTF requirements and market conduct rules.
• Proven ability to assess complex investment products and structured solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to handle escalations and sensitive matters.
