Senior Consultant – Technology Consulting – Cyber Security

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in Technology Consulting to lead cyber security engagements for banking and insurance clients. The role combines strategic advisory with hands‑on technical work, helping organisations protect their digital assets and meet regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cyber security consulting, information security and risk assessments for processes, applications, systems and IT infrastructures in the financial services sector.
• Deliver projects on hot topics such as cloud security, blockchain, DevOps, penetration testing and security architecture.
• Provide IT risk assurance services, including internal controls, risk and compliance management.
• Support interdisciplinary teams in evaluating and improving clients’ cyber security maturity and strategy.
• Educate clients on the evolving cyber threat landscape and recommend remediation measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Information Technology, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2‑3 years of professional experience in cyber security, information security or technical IT security assessments.
• Strong knowledge of security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Passion for consulting and deep expertise in at least one cyber security domain (e.g., security architecture, data protection, network security, IAM).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA) are a plus.
• Fluency in English and French or German.
