Senior Director of Product Portfolio Strategy

About the role

On is a fast‑growing premium sportswear brand seeking a senior leader to define its global collection strategy. In this newly created position you will shape a cross‑vertical product portfolio that aligns with consumer insights, market trends, and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage the Long‑Range Plan (LRP) in alignment with product and merchandising strategies.
• Lead seasonal and annual planning, balancing capacity, resources, financials, and franchise health.
• Recruit, develop, and coach a diversified, world‑class team across a matrixed global organization.
• Drive execution of major horizontal brand priorities such as LightSpray™, Liquified Carbon, and overall premiumisation.
• Oversee the innovation pipeline from concept through go‑to‑market, ensuring clear consumer messaging.
• Act as a sustainability catalyst, implementing and tracking ESG targets throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct continuous market, competitive, and trend analysis to identify white‑space opportunities and potential category extensions.

Required profile

• 13+ years of experience in global product strategy, portfolio management, or product merchandising within premium lifestyle, footwear or sportswear brands.
• Proven collaborative leadership style with the ability to build trust and influence senior decision‑makers.
• Strong analytical mindset, comfortable translating insights into strategic direction.
• Executive presence to champion vision, communicate clearly, and adapt based on new information.
