Senior Frontend Engineer - Acquisition

About the role

A partner company, acting on behalf of the employer, is recruiting a Senior Frontend Engineer based in Switzerland. The role shapes the digital experiences behind brokerage and trading technology, designing, developing and maintaining web and mobile applications that let customers access financial products through intuitive, reliable interfaces. It sits within a specialized engineering team working on Trading API products such as trading dashboards, cash management features and account solutions, in a globally distributed, remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable, high-performance web and mobile applications with modern frontend technologies.
• Contribute to Trading API products, including trading dashboards, high-yield cash features, paper trading accounts and other customer-facing capabilities.
• Own end-to-end features from design and technical planning through implementation, testing, deployment and improvement.
• Build mobile experiences for iOS and Android, and implement REST API and WebSocket integrations.
• Optimize performance, accessibility and responsiveness, and set frontend best practices and architectural standards.
• Mentor fellow engineers through code reviews, technical discussions and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• At least five years of professional frontend development, with strong expertise in TypeScript and React.
• At least three years of mobile app development for Android and iOS.
• At least two years of experience with a modern systems programming language such as Go, C++ or Rust.
• Proven track record of establishing frontend best practices and making sound technical decisions.
• Preferred: fintech experience, cloud platform experience (e.g. GCP), startup experience and remote work experience.
