Senior Manager Procurement

About the role

As Senior Manager Procurement within IATA's Corporate Services division, you will lead the digital procurement function, overseeing complex software, cloud services and specialised talent that keep the organisation running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead high‑stakes negotiations for enterprise software licences, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and niche SaaS platforms.
• Source and manage indirect categories, including supplier identification, RFx events and property leasing.
• Procure contingent workforce and professional services, negotiating rates, SOWs and ensuring market‑competitive talent.
• Partner with Vendor Management to track KPI performance, conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and enforce contractual obligations.
• Ensure contracts contain key clauses such as liability caps, indemnities, IP protection and termination provisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement of IT/software and cloud services.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder‑management and analytical skills.
• Ability to evaluate "Buy vs Build" decisions and drive data‑driven sourcing.
• Experience with indirect spend, contingent workforce and corporate governance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across global teams.

Required skills

• Negotiation of enterprise software contracts.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure and GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience with SaaS procurement and RFx processes.
• Drafting and managing Statements of Work (SOW).
• KPI monitoring and vendor performance management.
