Senior Manager, Regional Transportation

About the role

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Senior Manager to lead regional inbound freight transportation across EMEA. The role ensures reliable, compliant and cost‑effective movement of goods from manufacturing sites to hubs, affiliates and distributor distribution centres.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end MedTech EMEA inbound transportation operations and reliability.
• Ensure compliant execution across all inbound lanes, acting as senior escalation point for sites, carriers and logistics service providers.
• Lead financial governance, freight audit, payment management and carrier performance monitoring.
• Oversee Control Tower execution, business continuity planning and readiness for network changes, new product introductions, acquisitions and divestitures.
• Partner with Deliver, Make, Plan, Source, Finance, Quality, Trade Compliance, Procurement, Digital and Global Transportation to translate business needs into transport capabilities.
• Drive data‑based decision‑making and operational discipline in a regional matrix environment.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in transportation or logistics management within a multinational setting.
• Strong operational discipline, financial ownership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead and develop teams in a matrix organization.
• Experience handling complex inbound freight flows and carrier/LSP performance.
