Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Advanced Design

About the role

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will lead engineering activities for new VIP aviation projects, translating customer and interior design specifications into detailed engineering inputs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare engineering layouts, specifications, and parts lists from customer and interior design packages.
• Conduct predictive analyses such as water consumption, weight & balance, aircraft and electrical loading.
• Support sales and interior design teams with technical input during early project phases.
• Assess feasibility of customer requests, define long‑lead items, obtain quotations and place orders.
• Identify project risks and novel development needs, initiating internal or third‑party development.
• Participate in budgeting for new projects or change orders.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in VIP aviation or aerospace engineering.
• Proactive attitude with excellent written and verbal English communication; French or German is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and safety.

Required skills

• Predictive analysis (water consumption, weight & balance, aircraft loading, electrical loading).
• Technical mechanics and aerospace technology knowledge.
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems and certification requirements for VIP aviation.
