Senior Mechanical Engineer – Product Development (Lausanne)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join Coris Innovation’s product development team in Lausanne. You will be responsible for designing and simulating highly reliable mechanical sub‑systems for antenna projects, ensuring they meet functional, electrical, size, weight and airborne environment requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical development cycle of antenna systems, from requirements gathering to architecture definition and trade‑off analysis.
• Define work packages, estimate workloads, monitor execution and support project management with planning, interface and risk management.
• Design, simulate, test, assemble and validate complex, highly integrated mechanical components.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts, manufacturers, test facilities and cross‑functional engineers (system, hardware, RF).

Required profile

• Meticulous, open‑minded and well‑organized professional with a strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent teamwork and problem‑solving attitude, able to work autonomously and seek support when needed.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• More than 10 years of proven mechanical engineering experience in a relevant industry.

Required skills

• SolidWorks 3D for detailed mechanical design.
• EPDM for product data management.
• Thermal simulation and thermal‑management techniques.
• System‑level architecture covering mechanical, electrical and RF aspects.
