Senior .NET Software Engineer (f/m/d)

About the role

Hexagon’s Geosystems business area delivers digital solutions that capture, measure and visualise the physical world. As a Senior .NET Software Engineer you will develop and support the integration of high‑tech surveying instruments into a globally distributed software landscape. You will work in an international Scrum team, collaborating with production and service engineers and using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integration of surveying instruments for production and service.
• Design and implement solutions using C#.NET Core on Windows and Linux platforms.
• Collaborate with production and service engineers to define requirements and analyse problems.
• Ensure quality throughout the development cycle, including on‑site testing sessions.
• Leverage AI tools like Microsoft Copilot and Claude Sonnet to enhance development efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework.
• Fluent English for collaboration across Europe and Asia.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
