Senior Relationship Manager – Payments & Fintech

About the role

This senior client‑facing position is based in Switzerland and focuses on managing and expanding relationships with high‑value merchants in the payments and fintech ecosystem. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients reduce chargebacks, optimise dispute processes and improve overall payment performance through data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow Tier 1 and high‑value client relationships, ensuring long‑term satisfaction and retention.
• Lead client onboarding and coordinate with internal technical, onboarding and product teams for smooth implementation.
• Analyse client performance data and recommend tailored solutions to reduce chargebacks and improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with technical and product teams to support integrations and resolve complex challenges.
• Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities to drive additional revenue within existing accounts.
• Lead strategic discussions with client stakeholders and align on goals and performance expectations.
• Represent the client voice internally to influence product and service improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relationship management or sales experience in payments, cards or fintech.
• Proven track record managing Tier 1 or enterprise‑level clients with measurable retention and growth.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior decision‑makers.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
