Senior RF IC Designer - Broadband RF Circuits

About the role

A recruiter is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior IC Design Engineer to join a fast-paced team. You will develop broadband RF circuits up to millimeter-wave frequencies for optical coherent applications, with a strong background in SiGe and silicon-based IC architecture, design and layout, and expertise in frequencies above 30 GHz.

Key responsibilities

• Design, layout and verify IC subblocks operating in the multi-GHz range.
• Work closely with test and application engineers to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
• Contribute to the development of high-speed transimpedance amplifiers, linear modulator drivers and DC control loops.
• Support product characterization and provide technical expertise throughout the product development and release cycle.

Required profile

• Master's degree (M.S.) in a relevant field with at least 2 years of IC design experience.
• Proven experience designing 30+ Gbps TIA's and linear modulator drivers; familiarity with DC control loops is advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of SiGe bipolar IC design or RF CMOS, with a strong foundation in analog design principles.
• Hands-on experience in mmWave, RF and analog integrated circuit design.

Required skills

• Cadence schematic design and layout tools (scripting is a plus).
• E&M modeling tools such as EMX, ADS, HFSS or Sonnet are highly desirable.
