Senior SAP Integration Consultant (Zurich)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant SAP Integration to join our SAP Technology team in Zurich. In this strategic position you will design, develop and oversee complex integration solutions that support Sika’s digital transformation and cloud adoption journey.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement integration architectures using SAP Integration Suite, SAP PO/PI, API Management and related tools.
• Collaborate with functional, development and basis teams to define requirements and ensure end‑to‑end consistency.
• Maintain and monitor integration interfaces, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues promptly.
• Promote best practices, security standards and performance optimisation across all integrations.
• Mentor junior team members and review technical deliverables.
• Support project delivery teams throughout the system development lifecycle.
• Contribute to Sika’s cloud adoption initiatives in the integration space.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 8+ years of experience with SAP integration technologies.
• Fluent English; additional German or Spanish is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required skills

• SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management).
• SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Orchestration).
• Programming in Java or Groovy, UDF development.
• Working with OData, REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with BTP, event‑driven architectures and SAP Event Mesh.
• Knowledge of IDoc, RFC, ALE, EDI and other SAP integration standards.
