Senior Software Engineer – AI Developer Experience

About the role

The AI Developer Experience team builds the tools, services, and governance that enable Thomson Reuters engineers, data scientists, and legal experts to create dependable AI products. You will design, develop, and maintain robust back‑end services and APIs that power the Enterprise AI Platform and CoCounsel agentic evaluations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back‑end services and APIs using Python.
• Architect solutions on AWS cloud infrastructure and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to deliver high‑quality software.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to technical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
