Senior Supply Chain Coordinator (60-100%)

About the role

A recruitment agency is looking on behalf of its client, an internationally operating company with a global supply chain organization, for an experienced Senior Supply Chain Coordinator (f/m/d) based in Lucerne. Working 60-100% of the time, you will act as a central interface between vendors, customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring efficient execution of global supply chain operations while contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, systems and data flows.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end order processing between customers and vendors
• Manage purchase orders, invoices and credit notes within and outside SAP
• Monitor shipping schedules and ensure timely delivery
• Track and resolve IDOC errors and support SAP-related issue handling
• Coordinate forecast and net requirement alignment between key stakeholders
• Maintain product and material master data in SAP
• Generate and analyze reports on inventory, backorders, KPIs, sales and purchases
• Support monthly reconciliation with Accounting
• Contribute to the SAP S/4HANA rollout, system integration and process standardization
• Support Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives, and work with Procurement, Finance, Sales, IT and international affiliates
• Support price and exchange-rate adjustments, royalty calculations and audit processes

Required profile

• Completed commercial education or equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience in supply chain or a comparable operational role
• Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
• Experience in an international or multinational environment preferred
• Fluent written and spoken English; Japanese is a plus

Required skills

• Strong SAP knowledge; exposure to SAP S/4HANA is highly advantageous
• Advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
• Experience with master data, reporting and data-driven supply chain operations
• Analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
