Senior Technical Consultant SAP Development – Transportation Management

About the role

Sika AG is seeking a highly experienced SAP developer specialized in Transportation Management to support digital transformation and strategic TM programs. The role involves enhancing and safeguarding Sika's global SAP template solutions while collaborating with functional, business, and technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain custom developments for Freight Units, Freight Orders and other TM business objects.
• Enhance planning and execution screens, FPM applications, and charge calculation automation using BRF+.
• Develop and modify PPF actions, transportation network modeling logic, and TM master data models using BOPF, CDS views and related frameworks.
• Perform Fiori and UI5 development, set up OData services, and implement side‑by‑side extensions with BTP services.
• Review functional design documents, produce technical documentation, and coach team members.

Required profile

• 10+ years of SAP TM development experience (embedded and decentral).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global, distributed team.
• Fluent spoken and written English; German is a strong advantage.

• SAP TM modules: Freight Units, Freight Orders, Charge Management, planning logic, carrier integration.
• Fiori, UI5, WebDynpro ABAP, Smart‑forms, Adobe Forms.
• EDI/IDoc, ABAP Proxy, Workflow, Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Cloud Platform, AI/ML, SAP Joule.
