Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst (Security Engineering & Research)

About the role

Apple is seeking a world‑class Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to join its Security Engineering & Research (SEAR) team. You will work remotely, collaborating with security engineers, researchers and external partners to translate threat intelligence into actionable security engineering decisions that protect billions of Apple devices.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input into the development of security technologies and mitigations.
• Analyze advanced cyber actors, their capabilities, techniques, and exploit development.
• Investigate complex threat‑actor campaigns, including infrastructure, malware, and victim endpoints.
• Collaborate with security researchers to drive engineering solutions.
• Design innovative mitigations that preserve privacy, usability, and user experience.
• Work closely with external partners to support cyber‑threat‑intelligence activities.
• Operate remotely with occasional travel as needed.

Required profile

• In‑depth understanding of the threat‑intelligence cycle and cyber operations.
• Significant experience conducting threat research, preferably as a technical lead.
• Proven ability to analyze highly complex threat‑actor campaigns.
• Strong capability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks and drive them to completion.
