Senior Wealth Planner for Eastern Europe & CIS

About the role

Pictet Wealth Management is looking for a Senior Wealth Planner to join its Wealth Solutions unit in Geneva or Zurich. The role focuses on clients in Eastern Europe, the CIS and the Baltic region, providing tax, legal and wealth‑structuring advice.

Key responsibilities

• Guide bankers and clients on personal taxation, relocation, real‑estate investment, succession planning and wealth structuring (trusts, foundations, private funds, life‑insurance contracts, etc.).
• Coordinate internal expertise and external specialists to resolve complex legal and tax issues.
• Monitor tax, legal and regulatory developments in the covered jurisdictions and communicate opportunities and risks through publications, presentations and workshops.
• Develop and maintain a network of trusted third‑party advisors, notaries, fiduciaries and trust companies.
• Share knowledge with fellow wealth planners and contribute to team projects.

Required profile

• University degree in Law or Economics (or equivalent).
• At least 10 years of experience in private‑client wealth planning, preferably in a law firm, Big‑Four or bank.
• Fluency in English and Russian (written and spoken); strong command of French or German; additional Eastern European language is a plus.
• Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
• Excellent communication skills, trustworthy, self‑motivated and entrepreneurial.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of personal taxation, cross‑border tax rules and wealth‑structuring instruments.
• Ability to analyse, summarise and interpret multiple legal and tax options.
• Strong network management with external advisors, notaries and fiduciaries.
