Senior Web3 Software Engineer

About the role

Fuel is building a high‑performance blockchain operating system that pushes the limits of Ethereum. We are seeking a Senior Web3 Software Engineer to lead the creation of fast, secure, and user‑friendly decentralized applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive frontend applications for core DeFi products such as exchanges.
• Integrate with blockchain infrastructure (EVM chains, Fuel VM), wallet extensions (MetaMask, Phantom, WalletConnect), and on‑chain data sources (subgraphs, indexers).
• Implement secure transaction flows, multi‑sig approvals, cross‑chain bridging, and account abstraction.
• Collaborate on API design (REST/GraphQL), RPC optimization, and real‑time data queries.
• Define frontend architecture, design systems, and Web3 best practices, including testing, gas optimization, and accessibility.
• Review code (including Solidity/Sway), mentor engineers, and drive technical decisions on scalability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years leading Web3 or blockchain projects.
• Strong track record delivering data‑intensive dApps that handle real‑time streams such as order books or AMM curves.
• Excellent collaboration skills in fast‑paced, autonomous teams.
