SEO Content Writer (German) – Remote for Swiss Digital Agency

About the role

As an SEO Content Writer you will produce high‑quality digital content for a variety of industries, ranging from long‑form articles to landing pages and blog posts. You will work closely with the SEO team to ensure the content meets search‑engine performance goals while delivering genuine value to readers.

Key responsibilities

• Research and write long‑form articles, blog posts, landing pages and web content in German and English.
• Adapt tone, structure and style to suit different industries, audiences and search intents.
• Optimize content for readability, search intent and SEO/AEO best practices.
• Collaborate with the SEO team on keyword strategy and content planning.
• Conduct independent research on technical, financial, legal, healthcare, industrial and other specialist topics.
• Produce both in‑depth qualitative pieces and search‑driven content efficiently.
• Occasionally create content in Swiss Standard German.
• Deliver consistently high‑quality content within agreed deadlines.

Required profile

• Native‑level German and professional English proficiency.
• Excellent writing, editing and research abilities.
• Professional experience creating SEO‑focused content in a B2B environment.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles, search intent and digital content optimisation.
• Ability to quickly grasp unfamiliar or complex subjects.
• Comfortable writing across a wide range of industries and specialist topics.
• Reliable, structured and self‑directed work approach.
