SEO Content Writer - Native German (Remote, Swiss-based)

About the role

A growing Swiss digital agency that helps small and medium-sized businesses grow through SEO, AI-driven solutions, performance marketing and web development is looking for a specialist SEO Content Writer with native-level German. This is a hands-on writing role focused on producing search-focused content at scale, and the recruiter prefers candidates whose main experience is writing SEO content rather than broader content marketing, social media, campaign management or content strategy. The position is remote-first.

Key responsibilities

• Research and write SEO-focused articles, landing pages, blog posts and web content across many industries and subjects
• Produce large volumes of content quickly and accurately, switching between fast, high-volume pieces and more in-depth, qualitative writing
• Write content built around keywords, search intent and ranking objectives, working with SEO specialists to understand why content is structured a certain way
• Work across several clients, assignments and topics at once, adapting depth, tone and structure to each assignment
• Follow defined article lengths and word counts, and occasionally write in Swiss Standard German
• Keep up with developments in SEO, AEO, AI search and content optimisation

Required profile

• Native-level German and professional working proficiency in English
• Proven experience as an SEO Writer, SEO Content Writer or SEO Texter
• Ability to handle several writing assignments, topics or clients at once, including those priced or measured per word
• Strong research skills and comfort writing across different industries, including technical ones
• Reliable and able to work independently

• Nice to have: Swiss Standard German, freelance SEO writing experience, CMS platforms such as WordPress, AI-assisted research and writing workflows, and previous agency experience
