Site Manager – GIS Substations (80‑100%)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead GIS substation projects, overseeing installation and commissioning activities on‑site. You will act as the primary interface between customers, authorities, subcontractors and our internal teams, ensuring smooth operations and high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main on‑site contact for customers, authorities, subcontractors and project personnel in all technical and administrative matters.
• Lead construction teams daily and ensure smooth site operations.
• Monitor project performance regarding cost, schedule, technical advisory services, HSE and quality.
• Guarantee compliance with local regulations, standards and guidelines.
• Maintain daily communication with customers, subcontractors and internal back‑office teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in site management.
• Strong technical knowledge of installation and commissioning of MV/LV switchgear, transformers and GIS.
• Familiarity with F‑gas regulations and safety standards for handling pressurised hazardous substances (advantage).
• Excellent organisational skills and experience coordinating multiple teams.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
