SMB Account Manager – SaaS Healthcare Platform

About the role

The SMB Account Manager will nurture and grow relationships with small‑ and medium‑sized healthcare practices using our SaaS patient‑relationship management platform. The role focuses on driving product adoption, identifying upsell opportunities, securing early renewals, and minimizing churn.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of SMB accounts as the primary point of contact.
• Build strong relationships and conduct regular business reviews to demonstrate value and increase engagement.
• Identify, pitch and close upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to meet monthly and annual booking targets.
• Lead the renewal process with an emphasis on early pre‑renewals.
• Monitor account health, proactively address risks, and work to reduce churn.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve customer outcomes.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and keep CRM data clean and up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• 2–4+ years of account management, customer success, or related SaaS experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding upsell and renewal goals.
• Experience working with SMB accounts and subscription‑based revenue models.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Highly organized, self‑driven, and comfortable managing a high‑volume book of business.
• Experience in healthcare, patient engagement tools, or practice management software is a plus.
