Software Engineer, Agentic team

About the role

Join the Agentic Security team at Lakera to build the security layer for AI agents in production. You will work across the full stack, from optimizing inference pipelines to scaling red‑team algorithms and redesigning data infrastructure, ensuring AI can be deployed safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core product features in close collaboration with the founding team.
• Find pragmatic solutions to complex algorithmic problems.
• Balance scalable code design with rapid development and shipping.
• Contribute new features and improvements to existing products.
• Scale the software stack and algorithms for demanding use‑cases.
• Help establish a stable, high‑quality, and flexible engineering process.

Required profile

• Experience developing production‑level code across multiple technologies.
• Hands‑on, ownership‑driven mindset with a pragmatic approach.
• Enjoy tackling a wide range of algorithmic challenges and designing efficient systems.
• Strong sense of product and customer needs.
• Familiarity with production‑grade Python, C++, Golang or similar languages.
• Active contributor to open‑source projects and communities.
• Ability to work independently on abstract problems and deliver results without constant supervision.
