Software Engineer I – C++ (Zurich)

About the role

Vizrt is looking for a full‑time Software Engineer I specialized in C++ to join its Sports / AI component group in Zurich. You will work with an international team developing features for Viz Libero and Viz Arena, solutions used by major broadcasters worldwide for sports analysis and live augmented reality.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in product development within a world‑class team.
• Design, implement, and optimise C++ software components.
• Maintain and improve legacy codebases.
• Write clean, testable, and well‑documented code and take part in code reviews.
• Collaborate remotely, communicating proactively to support a healthy team culture.
• Continuously improve development processes and tooling.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, multithreading, and software design principles.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed environment.
