Strategic Project & Transformation Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Strategic Project & Transformation Manager for the Business Unit Electrical Safety Solutions. You will lead cross‑functional projects that span industrial, digitalization, innovation and process improvement, strengthening competitiveness and enabling growth across our global sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead high‑impact projects from initiation to implementation across R&D, Supply Chain, Production, Project Management and Engineering.
• Drive business transformation initiatives in partnership with senior management and global teams.
• Review and update the Business Unit strategy, aligning projects with strategic objectives, budgets and timelines.
• Support partnership and acquisition activities that underpin strategic growth.
• Foster collaboration across departments and geographies, managing cross‑functional teams with authority and influence.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, digitalisation and innovation.
• Act as a business partner to management, translating strategy into executable actions.
• Prepare management summaries and presentations for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or Mechanical Engineering (MBA a plus).
• Approximately 10+ years of industry experience in project execution and programme management within multinational small/medium‑sized companies.
• Consulting experience and proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
• Track record of delivering projects across the full value chain (product development, sales, procurement, operations, commissioning).
• International management experience, preferably in high‑voltage, railway traction, renewable energy or automation sectors.
• Experience working abroad and familiarity with Indian/Asian markets is advantageous.
