Supply Chain Coordinator (80-100% FTE)

About the role

Join Lonza as a Supply Chain Coordinator in Stein, where you will oversee the complete flow of materials and shipments that support the manufacturing of high‑quality medicines. You will act as the central hub linking customers, suppliers, logistics, QA, QC, planning and production teams to guarantee on‑time delivery and release of drug substances, raw materials and finished products.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end material and shipment activities, ensuring timely receipt, release and delivery of customer‑supplied components, drug substances and finished goods.
• Manage demand planning and SAP master‑data, maintaining independent demand, material records, purchase orders and shipment transactions.
• Partner with internal stakeholders (Logistics, QA, QC, Production Planning, Supply Chain) and external customers to align material availability, shipping schedules and quality releases.
• Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, track delivery performance, coordinate goods receipt, storage readiness and confirm shipment milestones.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives by optimizing supply‑chain processes, supporting shipping agreements and identifying efficiency, compliance and customer‑satisfaction opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain, material coordination or a related field.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with a detail‑oriented, structured approach.
