Supply Chain Planner

About the role

Mettler Toledo's EU-HUB, its European logistics hub, is strengthening its Supply Chain Planning team in Nänikon-Greifensee and is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planner (100%, all genders). The role combines strategic and operational planning, with a strong focus on inventory levels and material planning, supporting supply continuity and reliable material availability.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with agreed standard work and contribute to developing and improving SOPs for efficient, consistent and scalable planning processes.
• Carry out material planning and supply planning to control and optimise stock levels and material availability.
• Work daily with production units and external suppliers to ensure capacities are respected.
• Support inbound and outbound delivery performance, costs and productivity for the defined article range.
• Resolve discrepancies with the 3PL during shipment receipt in JIRAS.
• Support projects, escalation requests and SAP tickets across the EU-HUB where required.

Required profile

• Commercial education and solid business understanding; a degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in Supply Chain Management is a strong advantage.
• Several years of experience in a logistics environment or in the supply chain area.
• Very good German and English.
• Collaborative team player with a motivated, hands-on attitude, able to stay effective under pressure.

Required skills

• Very good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems, ideally SAP.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
