Team Leader Middle Office Control / Fund Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Team Leader to head the Middle Office Control function within the fund operations area of an international asset management bank in Zurich. The role combines oversight of data flows, fund valuation, and regulatory compliance with leading a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure reliability of data flows to custodian banks and outsourced service providers for CISA, ETF, and UCITS funds.
• Lead and develop a team, defining concepts, specifications, and best‑practice processes.
• Supervise data quality, NAV calculations, fund key figures, cost transparency, PRIIP KID production, factsheet creation and fund reporting.
• Make valuation decisions and participate in relevant committees and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with specialist teams, monitor regulatory requirements and drive optimisation projects.
• Plan and implement process automation and further develop fund operations services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking & Finance or Economics.
• Professional experience in a Big Four audit/consultancy, middle office of an asset manager, or fund service provider.
• Knowledge of Swiss and international fund regulations and experience with authorities such as FINMA, FMA, CSSF.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with high attention to detail.
• Proactive, communicative personality able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
