Technology Manager – Industrial Networks & IIoT

About the role

Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions is seeking a Technology Manager to lead the evaluation of technology trends and shape the digital transformation of process‑industry plants. You will guide strategy, provide consulting, and represent the company in international standards bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Assess emerging technological trends and their industrial applications to inform strategic decisions.
• Develop actionable strategies, specifications and implementation plans for Ethernet‑based fieldbus and IIoT solutions.
• Provide technology consulting for digitisation projects, supporting sales and development activities.
• Moderate interdisciplinary working groups to harmonise internal standards, guidelines and specifications.
• Represent Endress+Hauser in international standard development organisations and committees.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with practical experience in product or technology management for industrial process automation.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in the field.
• Strong knowledge of fieldbus and field‑device integration technologies used in process industries.
• Understanding of planning, commissioning and maintenance workflows for process plants.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in German and English, and willingness to travel internationally (~20%).
