Tender Engineer Electrical & Control (Waste-to-Energy)

About the role

Join Kanadevia Inova’s Global Engineering & Supply Chain Tendering team as a Tender Engineer focused on electrical and control systems for international Waste‑to‑Energy EPC projects. You will create conceptual designs, size systems, and develop cost estimates during the proposal phase.

Key responsibilities

• Develop single‑line diagrams, electrical operating concepts and power system functional descriptions for the full electrical scope.
• Define plant automation concepts and the Distributed Control System (DCS) architecture.
• Optimize system integration to enhance cost competitiveness and coordinate interfaces across process, civil, structural and logistics disciplines.
• Prepare cost and budget estimates for HV, MV, LV, DCS, instrumentation and emergency diesel generators, and analyse supplier quotations.
• Compile tender documentation, including technical descriptions, bills of quantities and contractual deviation lists, and ensure smooth hand‑over to the execution team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in an international EPC environment, preferably in energy, environmental technology or oil & gas.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills, with a proactive and team‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Electrical engineering and power system design (HV/MV/LV).
• Control systems engineering, including DCS and plant automation.
• Cost estimation and tender preparation for electrical and instrumentation scopes.
• Project execution and tendering knowledge in EPC projects.
