Transportation Lead – International Logistics

About the role

As a Transportation Lead you will optimise and steer international transportation operations, ensuring goods move efficiently across borders while controlling costs and service levels. You will work closely with procurement, warehousing and customer service teams in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. You will also act as the operational lead for the cross‑border transport specialist team, driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day execution of cross‑border logistics, guaranteeing timely and cost‑effective deliveries.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as procurement, warehousing and customer service to streamline operations.
• Monitor carrier performance, implement corrective actions and track carrier costs, including supplier claim justification.
• Analyse transportation data continuously to identify improvement opportunities and cost savings.
• Provide analysis and insights for projects such as freight forwarder tenders.
• Lead the cross‑border transport specialist team operationally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or a related field.
• 2–3 years of logistics experience.
• Excellent oral and written English; German is a plus.
• Strong communication, collaborative mindset and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications and familiarity with Power BI and automation tools (Power Automate, VBA).
