Trust Officer – International Client Portfolio

About the role

As a Trust Officer at Saffery Trust (Suisse) S.A., you will manage a portfolio of international private‑wealth clients from our Geneva office. You will be the primary point of contact, ensuring trusts and corporate structures are administered efficiently, compliantly and proactively.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day administration of trusts and companies.
• Maintain accurate client records, statutory registers and KYC information.
• Oversee bookkeeping processes and liaise with accounting teams.
• Open and manage bank accounts, monitor transactions and cash positions.
• Ensure client instructions are understood and executed correctly.
• Prepare documentation and attend client meetings.
• Work with investment advisers and support investment oversight.
• Coordinate with tax advisers to ensure tax compliance.
• Incorporate legal entities and set up trust structures in relevant jurisdictions.
• Support and guide junior colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance client service.

Required profile

• Solid experience in trust or company administration in Switzerland or an international environment.
• Strong understanding of private‑wealth structures and related regulatory aspects.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• STEP, GCI or equivalent qualification (or working towards it).
• Experience in a multi‑jurisdictional environment.
• Exposure to investments or financial markets.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
