Value, Access & Policy Associate

About the role

Join Amgen’s Value, Access & Policy (VA&P) team to manage patient access to Amgen products in Switzerland. You will handle case‑by‑case reimbursement processes and support broader policy initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage case‑by‑case reimbursement (KVV71) by negotiating with health insurers, fiduciary doctors and treating physicians.
• Support the expansion and execution of umbrella contracts with insurers and industry standards.
• Assist implementation of advanced IT solutions to improve off‑label access efficiency.
• Engage with external industry associations and SGV fiduciary doctors to shape access pathway regulation.
• Conduct research, stakeholder mapping, intelligence gathering and distribution for VA&P projects.
• Monitor market developments and provide input on VA&P strategy adjustments.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, biomedical science (pharmacology, molecular biology, medicine) or law.
• Relevant experience with the Swiss health‑care system in an academic or professional setting.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in German and English; French is a plus.
