Value Engineer

About the role

Celonis, the platform for industrializing Enterprise AI, is looking for a Value Engineer in Zurich. The Value Engineering team supports Celonis' largest Fortune 500 customers and ensures the Celonis Platform is deployed to solve strategic business challenges, fit into the right place in customers' technology stacks and deliver strong ROI. As a Value Engineer you will work alongside Lead and Principal VEs, combining technical execution with consulting and project management.

Key responsibilities

• Own the outcome from first discovery through realized ROI for each customer's process areas, and craft executive narratives and lead value workshops
• Build executive sponsorship across business units, co-own change management and design CoE roadmaps that build self-sufficiency
• Steer global transformations across complex workstreams, run AI-driven account planning and AI-assisted project management, and automate executive governance (QBRs, SteerCos)
• Act as an AI-fluent operator, using AI tools for rapid technical outputs and partnering with Applied Value Engineers on deep-dive solution builds
• Build a strategic expansion roadmap and give feedback to R&D based on customer use cases

Required profile

• 5+ years owning complex workstreams, process areas and customer relationships in Value Engineering, Consulting or Pre-Sales
• Proven expertise in process improvement and value realization, and in orchestrating multi-region or business-unit transformation programs with VP/Director-level sponsorship
• Flawless English with commanding executive presence
• Deep understanding of Finance and Supply Chain domains
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics or a comparable technical degree, or a Business/Economics degree with a technical minor

Required skills

• Solid background in enterprise IT and business software such as SAP, Workday, Salesforce and Oracle
• Comfortable using AI copilots to generate outputs and automations, with minimal manual coding
