Vice President Product & Marketing

About the role

ExcellGene is seeking a Vice President of Product & Marketing to build and lead its product and marketing function. Reporting to the CEO and joining the Executive Leadership Team, this senior leader will translate product strategy into clear offers and generate steady demand.

Key responsibilities

• Gather market and customer insights to understand segments, competitors and emerging opportunities.
• Shape portfolio and product strategy around market needs and ExcellGene’s scientific strengths.
• Define positioning and value proposition to articulate why customers should choose ExcellGene.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for core business and new growth areas.
• Create demand through lead‑generation programs and targeted campaigns.
• Enable sales with insights, messaging and tools.
• Identify new organic growth platforms and support assessment of potential acquisitions.
• Lead and develop the Marketing & Product team.

Required profile

• Scientific background with business or marketing education.
• 10+ years of product and marketing experience, including 3‑5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong product and marketing experience in biologics, especially cell‑line development or protein expression.
• Experience in CRO, CDMO or scientific services business selling development services alongside products.
• Ability to translate complex science into clear commercial value.
• Start‑up mindset with strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills.
