VP of Tech Expansion – Remote

About the role

Tether is seeking a senior executive to lead the global adoption and commercial expansion of its technology ecosystem, covering AI, self‑custodial infrastructure, peer‑to‑peer systems and digital finance solutions. Reporting to the Chief Expansion Officer, the VP will shape strategy, build partnerships and scale deployments worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a global expansion strategy for Tether’s technology verticals, prioritising high‑potential markets and partners.
• Originate, structure, negotiate and close major enterprise and government technology partnerships.
• Translate market and partner requirements into product and engineering opportunities and ensure delivery on time, within budget and against measurable objectives.
• Lead senior professionals and international teams, set KPIs, build a high‑performing global Tech Expansion organisation and develop repeatable commercial playbooks.
• Represent Tether as a technology leader at conferences, industry forums and with senior executives, regulators and government officials.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise technology, AI, digital infrastructure, fintech or related fields, including senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record of originating and closing large‑scale enterprise or government technology deals.
• Strong ability to engage C‑suite executives, government leaders and senior decision‑makers globally.
• Experience building and managing international, multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
