Windows Engineer – Infrastructure & Security

About the role

We are seeking a Windows Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Security team in Lugano. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Windows Server environment and related services, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) infrastructures and core services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online environments.
• Monitor system performance, apply patches, and implement security policies.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell scripting.
• Manage user access, permissions, and group policies across hybrid environments.
• Support virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper‑V) and monitor infrastructure performance.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a System Engineer or Windows Administrator.
• Practical knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
• Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Familiarity with monitoring, patch management, and security tools (e.g., WSUS, SCCM, Intune).
• Good understanding of network principles and security best practices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills in English; Italian is a plus.
