Vulnerability Manager / Security Specialist (IT)

About the role

This position is responsible for managing vulnerabilities across the bank’s IT landscape, ensuring that security risks are identified, prioritized, and remediated. You will work closely with infrastructure owners to protect the organization from cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Assess host vulnerabilities identified by the Nexpose scanner across Windows Server, Linux, and Azure environments.
• Correlate vulnerability data with Splunk SIEM to prioritize remediation efforts.
• Coordinate remediation tasks with Network Operations, Server Administration, DevOps, and Application Development teams.
• Provide regular status updates, compliance progress reports, and escalate critical issues to management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of vulnerability management and security compliance processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a technical security role focused on vulnerability management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nexpose).
• Solid understanding of Windows Server and Linux security.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts, preferably Azure.
• Understanding of network security principles and devices, such as Cisco.
• Experience with ITSM/GRC platforms like ServiceNow.
• Ability to work with security frameworks and regulations.
