2D Designer

About the role

We are looking for a versatile 2D Designer to create polished visuals for storefronts, marketing campaigns, in‑app promotions, and virtual environments on a social VR platform. The role is fully remote and offers flexible, part‑time contract work.

Key responsibilities

• Create compelling thumbnails, bundle graphics, and storefront visuals that are clear at small sizes.
• Produce marketing assets such as social media posts, blog headers, and video graphics.
• Prepare platform‑specific assets for Steam, Meta and other distribution channels, adhering to technical specs.
• Design in‑app banners, notifications, and event signage that integrate with the UI.
• Develop in‑world 2D artwork, textures, and signage for immersive virtual spaces.
• Maintain brand consistency while giving each asset a distinctive character.
• Organise files with clean naming conventions and layered source documents for easy collaboration.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio showcasing 2D design work for marketing, UI, or digital product promotion.
• Proven experience creating graphics for multiple formats and sizes, especially thumbnails, icons, and banners.
• Excellent understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, composition, colour and branding.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate with a distributed team.
