Access Engagement Lead

About the role

Roche is looking for an Access Engagement Lead for its diagnostics business, a global matrix leadership position based in Rotkreuz. The role brings diagnostics solutions to the forefront of care and grows access, reimbursement and funding for the established portfolio and new innovations. It works closely with global functions in Medical, Commercial, Market Access and Health System Policy, helping affiliates set access targets and turn them into results.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze access coverage, reimbursement levels, health and payer policies and the competitive access landscape to identify business opportunities
• Provide access insights and support the development and execution of global access strategies and tools
• Coach affiliates in implementing global access strategies, speeding up reimbursement and funding for prioritized products
• Create frameworks for transferring global strategies between countries and fostering collaboration across organizations
• Support affiliates in overcoming access, reimbursement and funding barriers and in building sustainable healthcare systems with payers and health technology assessment bodies

Required profile

• Master's degree in business economics, life sciences, public health, marketing or a related field; market access training preferred
• 5+ years of commercial and/or access experience in diagnostics/pharmaceuticals or a related industry; combined affiliate and global experience preferred
• Fluent English and another relevant language
• Deep knowledge of access landscapes in the US, EU5, China and Japan, and of payers and pricing and reimbursement trends
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a matrix environment and lead diverse teams
