Account Executive

About the role

Commvault is seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue by selling its AI‑powered data protection solutions to large, complex prospects and existing customers. This field sales position involves face‑to‑face engagement, strategic account planning, and collaboration with partners and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve quarterly and annual quotas by selling to new and established large accounts.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans for expansion and acquisition over one‑ and three‑year horizons.
• Create and lead sales campaigns, coordinating executive involvement and cross‑functional resources.
• Manage a matrixed sales team and liaise with partners, sales engineers, finance, and legal to close deals.

Required profile

• Proven success selling complex software platforms to enterprise customers.
• Experience identifying, building relationships and selling directly or with partners.
• Excellent communication, persuasive and listening skills.
• Fluent German language proficiency.
