About the role
embecta, a global diabetes‑care company, is seeking an Account Manager for Central Switzerland. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets with pharmacies, hospitals and practitioners, while building strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute independent visits, workshops and events for healthcare professionals and pharmacies.
- Analyse market data and sales figures to prioritize opportunities in the region.
- Develop and manage account strategies that drive sales growth and increase market share.
- Identify, acquire and nurture new customers across the safety and conventional pen‑needle market.
- Prepare regional forecasts and report directly to the Country Business Leader.
- Promote embecta’s corporate philosophy and foster collaboration across business units.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Business Administration or equivalent.
- 5+ years of sales experience in the healthcare industry with a strong network in Swiss pharmacy GPOs and hospitals.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and presentation abilities.
- Proven persuasive selling skills and ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Fluent in German and English; French is a plus.
- Team player who thrives in a dynamic, changing environment.
