Account Manager, Employee Banking (Fixed-Term)

About the role

Julius Baer is hiring an Account Manager for its employee banking business in Zurich. The Account Manager serves employees of the bank in day-to-day work, taking ownership of account administration, documentation and operational tasks, and works within a team responsible for executing trades. The role starts on 1 February 2027 and runs for 8 months.

Key responsibilities

• Serve clients in day-to-day work and manage their accounts on an execution-only basis, without a Relationship Manager involved
• Handle incoming calls and e-mails and process orders, trades, transactions, deposits and loans efficiently and promptly
• Handle account openings for new clients and account changes for existing clients, keeping client identification documentation (CDB), account opening forms and other legal forms accurate and complete
• Interact with clients globally in an independent, professional way and proactively lead client relationship tasks such as systems, applications, processes and documents
• Manage internal projects affecting account relationships, solve administrative issues and keep systems and documentation up to date
• Keep supervisors informed, plan ahead, document work and share ideas with colleagues to improve processes
• Become a subject-matter expert on the bank's products, processes and operations

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager or 3 years as an Account Manager (A/RM) with a job-related higher degree
• Experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager or Account Manager
• Excellent written and spoken German and English; Italian or French is an advantage
• Good interpersonal skills, systematic and independent, able to work well under pressure
• Proactive, precise, diligent and adaptable, with a positive "can do" attitude

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of banking and client servicing
• Pronounced knowledge of all asset classes in a portfolio context
