Accountant & Controller – Fixed-Term (Zurich)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant & Controller to join our Finance team in Zurich on a fixed‑term basis until the 2026 closing activities are completed (estimated mid‑January 2027). Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting, and reliable cash forecasting for Constellium US Holdings I LLC.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily and monthly transactions, including payables, netting, financing, accruals, pre‑payments and payroll journal entries.
• Prepare and monitor weekly payments (SAP and manual) and perform bank reconciliations, including in‑house bank accounts.
• Produce weekly/bi‑weekly direct cash forecasts for the Treasury team and reconcile them with indirect forecasts.
• Manage intercompany re‑invoicing of corporate and hosted costs.
• Lead the monthly accounting close, applying relevant SOX controls and preparing error‑free reports.
• Create and depreciate tangible and intangible assets, maintain balance‑sheet and P&L schedules.
• Support Group Tax (US) documentation and ensure compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley internal controls.
• Contribute to process improvements and ad‑hoc reporting projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting and controlling, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and maintain high data quality.
