Accountant – Full‑time (100%)

About the role

We are expanding our finance team at a new manufacturing site in Switzerland and are looking for a motivated Accountant to join us full‑time in Brügg. You will play a key part in managing our accounts payable and receivable processes while supporting treasury and vendor management.

Key responsibilities

• Review and post Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) entries.
• Reconcile employee cash and corporate credit‑card expenses.
• Process and monitor pre‑payments.
• Post and reconcile AP/AR general‑ledger entries.
• Prepare weekly payment runs and reconcile AP invoices in the internal ERP system.
• Execute monthly, quarterly and yearly AP sub‑ledger and general‑ledger closings.
• Support audits, walkthroughs and act as backup for Treasury.
• Manage vendor creation, maintenance and coordination.
• Handle internal and external email correspondence.
• Produce various AP‑related financial reports.

Required profile

• Commercial Finance Diploma or Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education.
• 2‑3 years of AP experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German or French is a plus.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication with colleagues, superiors and business partners.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with an ERP system for financial processing.
