Accountant – Full‑time (100%)

About the role

We are expanding our new manufacturing site in Switzerland and need a motivated Accountant to join our Finance team in Brügg. You will support the Accounts Payable function and ensure accurate bookkeeping, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sub‑ledger AP accounting and support the Accounts Payable department.
• Book invoices, employee and credit‑card expenses (Concur), and handle intercompany invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Prepare weekly payment runs and execute monthly sub‑ledger closing, including bookings and reconciliations.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports and AP analysis, and support internal and external audits.
• Assist with monthly and yearly closing activities, process optimization, and compliance with SOX/US‑GAAP.
• Participate in special projects, new software implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Theoretical accounting knowledge (e.g., commercial apprenticeship).
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong ability to work under pressure during peak periods.
• Practical first‑working experience preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with Concur expense management.
