Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join our finance team supporting the Swiss International principal company and its international sales entities across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia‑Pacific. The role will focus on general ledger accounting, expense analysis and month‑end closing for multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, review and reconcile expense reports for several entities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly expense accruals, journal entries for bank, payroll and other items.
• Execute month‑end closing activities and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts.
• Prepare month‑end analysis and reports for assigned entities.
• Support business and finance teams in daily use of Procurement/AP system.
• Contribute to procedure and process improvements to enhance controls and efficiency.
• Assist internal and external audits and provide support to finance managers.
• Provide backup for colleagues as needed.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or a recent graduate with an accounting degree or commercial diploma.
• Pro‑active, hands‑on mentality, motivated team player with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in a US‑based multinational company is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken; additional European languages are a plus.
