AI Integration & Enablement Engineer – SAP

About the role

Billennium is seeking an experienced AI Integration & Enablement Engineer to join a strategic SAP Utilities transformation program. You will lead the design, development, and integration of AI‑powered solutions that boost delivery efficiency and automate engineering activities across a next‑generation billing platform built on SAP UC4G.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and maintain AI‑driven agents, automations, scripts and integrations for the squad.
• Embed AI capabilities into existing SAP development and delivery processes.
• Apply AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle – from requirements analysis to testing.
• Drive AI adoption as a standard way of working, enabling team members to use AI tools daily.
• Develop best‑practice guidelines for responsible AI usage within the SAP environment.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve productivity and reduce manual effort.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience using AI tools in a professional software engineering setting.
• Practical experience with AI solutions such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude Code or other LLM‑based technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI across multiple phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, risks and appropriate usage.
